This is the second session in our Basic Digital Skills training series. Jolyn Bowler will present the basics of email. She will cover email how email works and the terminology that describes it. She'll discuss the difference between online email like Gmail and an email client app/program like Outlook. Also, she'll show the basics of email creation, including to/cc/bcc, formatting, filing, and how to recognize suspicious spam and phishing attempts. This is not for experts and questions are encouraged. If you have a friend you think might benefit from this session, sign them up as a guest and bring them along.
The session will be given in person at the Sr. Center and simultaneously on Zoom. When you sign up, choose which way you will attend. The in person attendance will be limited to 40 so that questions will be easy to handle.
Note, in order to complete your registration you must click on Register, and complete the registration process (several screens) until you get to review and confirm your registration. Space is limited 45 people if you chose the Sr. Center option. If the class is full, please put yourself on the waitlist or choose the Zoom option.
